On Friendfeed, Nambu and the WordPress iPhone app

First of all this is posted using the iPhone WordPress app, which now seems to have settled down into a stable easy to use way of blogging on the road.

I’ve been trying to get my head round FriendFeed for a couple of days now, but frankly I’m finding it’s a bit rubbish. There is too much chatter, too many responses to most of the ‘posts’ if that’s what they are. And I dislike all the ‘Liked’ tweets that get shunted across into my Twitter timeline from people I’m following who also get very verbose on Friendfeed.
Plus I didn’t find it very intuitive to use. For the first timer without the advantage of someone elses experience as a guide it’s a “Christ I can’t be bothered with this” affair.

Now to Nambu. I’ve mentioned this before. It’s a very nice Twitter client for Macs, but the latest version has proved to be unstable for me so far today. Four “unexpected quits” is four too many. I’ve trashed the Nambu plist file and restarted the application to see if that fixes it.
Otherwise back to TweetDeck and Twitterific while we wait for Bigbird to come out of private beta.
