Your home or business PC could be being used and reused by multiple criminal elements behind your back, security specialists have warned.

Cyber criminals are trading the digital assets of PC’s without the users knowledge, according to security supplier Finjan.

A trading platform known as ‘The Golden Cash Network’ is where buyers and sellers exchange information on compromised PC’s. Buyers can obtain access to blocks of infected PC’s from Hackers for as little as $5 per 1000 in the Far East. These batches will be resold in the market once the buyer has made use of the information.
Access to an infected PC is not a one time asset, it can be resold over and over again.
